Monkey Bread MMMMMM!!

I have been doing pretty good on making dinner every night (which by the way saves a ton of $$)and with dinner I make some kind of dessert I have never made before. I don't know much about baking as I do cooking. Most of the recipes I find are online or from people who have made it before. This past weekend we visited my mother in law and she made this no bake lemon cream pie that was AMAZING! I need to get that recipe asap!
Today I made Monkey Bread. I remember eating it a long time ago at a friends house. Literally it was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. I found a recipe for Monkey Bread on the back of "Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls." I did not use the caramel it asked for but it was still soooo delicious!! I will be making this again! Pretty sure my baby is doing back flips hahaha.

I'm so in LOVE with life!

Words cannot express everything I have been feeling! I absolutely am SO IN LOVE with life! I have no idea how else to say it! Leif and I are so excited about our little baby, it makes my heart melt every time Leif talks about how he cant wait for him/her to be here. I have so much to be grateful for and I feel like I am on top of the world. I am so blessed we have amazing friends and family who support us. Although baby was not on our to do list just yet, it has definitely changed us for the better. I'm coming up on 18 weeks and can feel baby starting to kick me. This is such an amazing and new experience for me, I can't help but wake up super excited everyday! I know that my decisions and choices are what have truly made me feel the joy and happiness I have. I'm excited to keep sharing with you all our experience with becoming parents! :)))

Our Story

Leif and I met through a mutual friend June 2009. All I remember from the first night was thinking how much he talked hahaha! I have never met a guy who talked as much as he did. Usually its the other way around, I can't shut up about anything! So the very next day Leif went to California for the weekend. We texted each other literally all day the entire weekend he was gone. The day he was coming back from Cali his rides car broke down in the middle of nowhere Winnamuca Nevada! I was so bummed because we planned on seeing eachother. The very next day he was back in Rexburg and within an hour of returning we hung out again. That week was his birthday and that night we decided to date exclusively.The entire summer we were together everyday. We were like peanut butter and jelly. September was around the corner and I was not in school, I decided to go home to Illinois with my parents to save money. We kept dating long distance and well it sucked. I visited him in October and that's when it started to get serious. He asked me to marry him on New Years at 12am. We were downtown Chicago at Navy Pier watching the fireworks and I'm pretty sure it was below 0 outside. The ring is beautiful who could say no to that?! Haha JK. Afterwards we went to China town and had some delicious food :) We LOVE China town, it's one of our favorite places. We were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on
